As u know the pandemic in India has only worsened and there are barely any signs of improvement thus far. It's been over a week and we have seen plenty of support from multiple nations but really, in this situation, money really can't do much. Without enough medical personals and equipments, patients are unable to receive medical aid.  Oxygen tanks are the most basic equipment required and India is unable to give patients that much. Doctors and nurses aren’t able to sustain someone's life not because they are incompetent but rather there isn't enough resources for all.  It's sad to sad but the harsh truth is that in India, the ability to sustain life wasn’t even part of the equation. People literally don’t even have hospital beds to lie on. Anyways, in terms of my relatives in India and what they account of their experience, it's actually pretty different from what media shows - mind u they are not the rich end.
I guess north India was affected way worse. The fact is people-including the government-  were reckless and that's the cause of the second wave. It always is - India is not the only one. Could it have been prevented? Probably yes, but Indian population cannot be controlled that easily due to the huge bureaucracy and how the entire political system works in India.  It's always the central government blaming the state government and state government blaming the central government. But the government could have prevented it from spiking that high if not for the elections and whatnot.
